Creating a mobile application for Scouts to conveniently record activities and keep track of their achievements and badges. Motivating Scouts to keep on track in completing tasks with the incorporation of gamification and journey visualisation. The app is a convenient way of recording their journey without a traditional record book. This helps Scouts achieve better results by encouraging and motivating them to achieve more badges towards their Scout’s Medallion.

Aside from helping young Aussies develop a diverse range of skills, the Scouts Australia Program also incorporates contemporary issues such as youth health, ‘responsible risk-taking’, vocational skills and issues pertinent to Indigenous Australians. A digital tool to enable Scouts to keep track of their journey will enable more Scouts to stay engaged in the program for longer.
